Selling 2005 Smart Pulse cdi. This is a rare Smart car with a Mercedes engineered turbo diesel and exceptionally low mileage (the odometer says 47800, but that is in kilometers; it translates to roughly 30000 miles). It has a 6 speed tiptronic automatic transmission with steering mounted paddle shifters that make it a blast to drive. I drove this car from British Columbia to Illinois with no problem whatever, regularly cruising at 70 mph and got between 50 and 60 mpg all the way. The best mileage I have gotten thus far was nearly 70 mpg on a recent trip to Chicago. The only thing this car needs is a new headlight (although both lights work when on the 'brights' are on. It is in excellent condition overall, both mechanically and aesthetically. I have heard that there are only around 100 of these particular cars in the entire US and are much sought after because of their economy, durability and reliability. And as I said, they are a blast to drive. The car also has A/C, am/fm cd stereo, keyless entry, power windows and locks, sunroof and traction control. The car was originally purchased from an individual who lived on a small island off the coast of British Columbia and drove the car very little, which explains the extraordinary low mileage for a 2005.
