My uncle bought this truck brand new and, it then went to my dad and now me. This is a completely rust free Chevy step side. This is a 350 with a factory 4 speed transmission that runs better than any 80's pickup you will ever find;it is a screamer. I spent over 15k in this beauty in the last year completely going through it from paint,interior and of course a little beefing of the motor. The back of the bed remains original and has the original wood which is in excellent condition. You will have to go a long way before you found another 83 Chevy step side with 89k actual miles in this condition. if you are looking for an absolute breath taker and something you can drive across the country with no problem you have found your 83 step side.
