1959 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible Same owner since 1968. I personally stripped the paint in 1976. Car is a rare highly optioned car with options of Power Top and Windows, 283 270 HP two four barrel carburetors. has large 24 gallon gas tank that was very rare as well as Metallic brakes (333 of 9760) and Heavy Duty Suspension. Has the Deluxe interior as well. I had always intended on restoring this car with my father but he passed on 1 1/2 years ago. Car has both Tops. The hard Top is in excellent shape but the side glass has spider crazing and rear glass has a crack around the center mounting bolt which was there 40 years ago. Still have the original title when it was transferred into my fathers name in 1970; purchased in 1968. I have NOS headlamp housings complete and front coves for both sides. have all the original door panels and kick panels. The chrome and all hard ware are there as well. This car came with brand new block from GM but is period correct but 1961 -1966. This motor was set up with a 3/4 Duntov cam as well. Motor has not been turned. The frame is rusty but this car is all there and fiberglass in very good shape. Chrome bumpers are all there as well. This is a very special deserving of a restoration.
