Vehicle Detail

Super-cool hot rod 1956 Ford F-100 project for sale. The '56 Ford is a one-year-only model that is highly regarded, and is the '32 Coupe of trucks; "the" one to have. This truck is currently a roller with steering and brakes, and loaded with good stuff to get you off to a great start. This was a California desert truck early on, and has been in indoor storage locally for over 30 years. She's rock solid with zero rust issues, and still wears most of the original paint. Details as follows: -Solid original body without rust issues. Bed customized with filled and smoothed pockets and rails, rear roll pan/bumper eliminator, frenched in '59 Cadillac tail lamps. Doors, floors, glass, etc. are all great. -New finished red oak bed wood and matching red oak custom tail gate. -Original full-length frame with Volare front clip installed... the very best frame graft I have ever seen... looks factory original. Torsion bar independent front suspension, power disc brakes, power steering, and lowered ~ 6". Factory front frame horns mean you use the stock core support, and all the front sheet metal goes on just like it did from the factory. -Power front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, master, and booster hidden under floor, all new. -9" Ford nodular rear end with pinion snubber. Spring pads relocated and the rear end mounted over the springs, like a car... lowers the truck ~6" with room for more. -1970 351 Cleveland Cobra Jet 4v 4-bolt mains high performance engine, fully rebuilt with zero miles. Complete from carb to pan, including factory HP cast exhaust manifolds. -C 6 automatic transmission fully rebuilt with zero miles -Front end is fiberglass including hood and fenders. Factory chrome V8 grill and steel lower valence. -Tires are new-old-stock performance ply versions from the 70's... still have the nipples on them; they have never seen the road or sunlight. Wheels are baby moons that will need to be redone; I was going to put full hubcaps on them and call it good...it is a popular look again. -Interior features an early 60's split back leather bench with nice stainless trim, matching tilt steering wheel, and stock gauge cluster. -New wiring kit installed. -Engine complete with accessories... power steering pump, alternator, water pump, fuel pump, etc. I removed the valve covers, heads, pan, and intake manifold and verified firsthand that the engine is completely rebuilt and new. I installed new head, intake, and exhaust gaskets and repainted the engine and accessories, as well as the front frame section. I accept the previous owner's description of the transmission being new as well after that verification. I had the rear end out and performed the spring perch/axle flip myself, repainting the rear frame sections, springs, and frame rails at that time. I have been around and under the truck and there are NO rust-through issues anywhere. There is also very little surface rust; the truck is extremely dry and straight in all respects. $7,500.00 cash. Clear title in hand. 360-936-9257 for more info. Please be prepared to remit payment within 3 days of auction end via bank wire transfer, cash, or major bank cashier's check (will verify that it has cleared the issuing bank prior to vehicle and title release). Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer; I will make myself available for pickup. It is a rolling non-operational project vehicle. While every effort is being made to describe the truck accurately, it is in fact a 57-year-old classic and being sold as-is, without any warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied.
