Vehicle Detail
Guys, this truck is all original except for the carb. It runs like a scalded dog, but it's kind of a Joe Dirt type of MOPAR right now. The exterior is rock solid, and the engine bay is all original, down to the stickers and the hoses. The original owner sold it to her neighbor across the street. He's my friend named Doug Rush. Doug has routinely driven the truck in Blount County, AL for awhile now, but he needs to move it. It needs to be restored, but the good thing is that it was driven and cared for by a MOPAR family that currently owns a hemi, 67 RT, and an old Dart. The truck will be an easy restoration because the expensive hard to find items are all there. It will need partial floor pans, but that's really not a big deal.It runs really well, but the valve covers leak a little oil. If you are in the market for a LIL RED project, this truck is for you. Timing prevents me from buying this one for myself, but if I could, I would. It's a good truck, and an easy restoration. I think it will need: Partial floor pan: $500.00 including laborRechrome rims $500.00new rear bumper $300.00new tires $500.00deep clean engine bay and tighten valve covers and ad new hoses $250.00block sanded, primed, painted $4,000.00new lil red stickers $200.00restore gauge panel $375.00new wood in the bed and surround $500.00minor electrical work $250.00remove tint from original windows $300.00restore grill $350.00buff original lenses $200.00 So, I think about $8k will restore it, and cheaper if you do the work yourself, especially if you weld or do paint and body. So, I hope this allows you to assess where you need to be on this vehicle. This is what I could restore it for, but I cannot right now. Too busy.... Happy Bidding and good luck. Save this ole Mopar!!!
