1975 mustang II,.you don't see these cars come up for sale often and here we have an original mach 1,.this car came factory with a v8 and a 4-speed manual trans,those are long gone now but have been replaced with a rebuilt 86 5.0 liter v8 with a 4bbl intake and an eldebrock 600 carb also has an hei conversion dist in it,.this motor runs at 190 degrees and 50 psi of oil pressure even on longer trips,.i have drove it straight for over an hour one way and it never ran hot or dropped oil pressure,.the trans is a t-5 with a new clutch set up and shifts perfect no grinding or sticking in gear(keep in mind this has a straight clutch cable there is no adjustable firewall quadrant like the fox mustangs,with this and the heavy duty clutch it does take a little leg to work it,ive never had a problem with it),.the rear is the stock 8 inch open end with stock gears and traction bars,.the previous owner made shackles to get the stance it has now and to fit the 275 drag radials that are on the rear this car has a complete painless wiring harness in it from front to back,.the fuse box is now located under the hood for easier access wheels;.the weld rims and tires on it are in excellent shape,.skinnys up front with nice tires,.rears are 15x8 with 275/50 drag radials with plenty of life left interior is redone,custom white and black seats,new red carpet,original mustang II console the front part was cracked and broken so I cut it down and made a diamond plate cover under the e-brake,.im a tall guy so I made the interior to fit taller people the back seat in these cars is pretty much useless so I deleted it(I still have it and its included)I moved the front seats back about 6 inches from stock for more leg room,they can be moved forward if youre shorter also,.the back panels seal off the gas tank area where a new 68 style gas tank was dropped in since the old tank was no good,.it has a 6 speaker pioneer cd player with amp and the other side has a lid with a storage compartment for tool or whatever you want(panels can be easily removed and back seat installed again,i didn't cut or hack anything up,.has astra Hammond louvers on it,rear and sides the body on the car is in great shape considering its a mustang II,.it does have some rust in the rear inner wheel well areas and some starting to bubble on the top of the outer 1/4 panels,.one spot on the trunk lid needs some attention too(if I keep the car im gonna buy and install a cobra wing which should cover the troubled area),.floor are solid and I did por-15 them on the inside before putting the carpet in overall there is a lot of time and money into this car and its not perfect and does need some finishing touches but its a great little hot rod to cruise around in,.needs the brakes gone over,the master cylinder is weeping and needs replaced but they do stop good still,.the aftermarket heat/ac needs finished,.heat is hooked up and I ran all the ac lines they just need crimped and fill the system,.also needs an oil dip stick installed in the block(it doesn't burn or leak so it stays full from oil change to change(ive done 2 since ive owned it)the exhaust on the car is a single pipe to a flowmaster it has exhaust manifolds on it with a Y pipe,what it really needs is headers and a new dual system installed,.i threw the single on it just to get it going for now it doesn't sound bad and some basic tinkering I have a folder of receipts from the previous owner and myself for a lot of the work done,.recored radiator,new clutch,new one wire alt etc,..feel free to contact me for my # if you are serious about the car,..thanks for looking
