1976 Ford Gran Torino " Starsky and Hutch " PS122 documented original. Delivered to Kemerer Wyoming March 17, 1976.This is a real, unmolested survivor 2 owner car ! The car has had 2 mature lady owners and was well cared for , not hammered and abused like so many of these cars were .This car has been in the dry mountain air since new , keeping rust and mildew to a bare minimum ...it has seen very limited use in the last ten years .Car has a total of 126,000 miles on it , and the original 351 " W" engine has approximately one thousand miles on a Complete High Performance, upgraded overhaul... by local Machinist Wizard , And it show's it ! The engine is tight and stronger than stock, with swirl polished valves and other hi-Po upgrades .The engine and components are clean and virtually dry of oil leaks etc . Transmission and drive train are solid ...this car cruises at 75 - 80 effortlessly all day long ! A very straight, solid example of one of the few unrestored , unmolested original Starsky and Hutch cars left . The interior is nice ,with an uncracked original dash pad . All the interior will need is a good cleaning , and a seat cover and maybe carpet .The A.C. felt like it was blowing cold , but may need a charge . Cruise control , wipers , lights , heater, hood and trunk light etc all work as they should. The clock may need a fuse or repair .The body is straight and tight overall , except for the L. drivers rear tail light area { See Picture } ,The tail light lenses are driver quality , but should be changed for concourse show. Also there is some usual minor rust low on drivers side ...this area has been initially treated with Eastwood rust converter to contain it . The black area is where the rust converter ,converted mostly surface rust . There will be no high dollar panel replacement needed on this S.& H. Torino . To the best of my knowledge I have found ZERO bondo in this Torino.The trunk floor is very solid . the floors are in decent shape with no holes.The rockers are very solid { see pictures } . The exhaust is solid , and is still sporting the original dual Ford factory catalytic converters .Folks this is an almost 40 year old car , it's not perfect , but I cant bring myself to want to tamper with it , it's beauty lies in it's survivor status to me , but it wouldnt take much to make it very nice. !The PS 122 tag under the hood and the build sheet and other info are included .
