Vehicle Detail
1974 MG BGT WITH COLD A/C OVERDRIVE KNOCK-OFFS STUNNING RESTORATION! Terms: Call (772) 285-1460 before submitting any bid or offer. The car is advertised locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. Vehicle is sold as is, where is with no warranties or guarantees implied. If you have any concerns or questions, they need to be discussed BEFORE any offers are made through eBay. Winning bidder to submit a $500 deposit via PayPal at auction close. Balance due 7 days from auction close. I will accept a cashiers check, or bank wire ONLY for the balance. I can hold the car for up to 3 weeks while you make arrangements to have the car picked up. Let's admit it, fellow MG fans...... Commissioning a complete nut and bolt restoration on a classic car is something most folks only dream about. A rare few have the opportunity to throw frugality out the window while spending into oblivion. The car you see here was the recipient of a no expense spared painstaking restoration that took several years to complete. If you are considering a restoration on the old MG fading away in your garage or shed, you would need to commit well north of $30,000 to match what you see here. A folder with nearly $14,000 in parts receipts from Moss, The Roadster Factory, etc. document only part of the story! These figures do NOT include the restoration/ paint of the body, purchase and installation of the air conditioning, nor do they document the labor to install the glass, install the interior, the cost to rebuild the engine (Big Bore .040 over, High Lift Cam), the overdrive transmission, or the rear axle.CLICK HERE FOR VIDEO AND PICTURES The This car was built to drive and items like ample sound deadening, Alpine stereo/CD with JVC speakers, cold air conditioning, modern reclining bucket seats (Miata), and electric overdrive are just some of the features that make this car so much more enjoyable to drive than your average "B". The original seats were restored with the rest of the car and are included in the sale. The car is breathtaking in person. Please expect a few minor chips etc. The paint is lifting on a small area on top of the right fender, and a larger area below the belt line. The only bubble on the car is at the center of the cowl, just below the windshield. H Thanks for your interest and HAPPY BIDDING!
