Vehicle Detail
1971 Pontiac Firebird Built into a 1972 Trans Am Red 1 of 1 SCCA Tribute Trans Ams from 1970 to 1972 were manufactured in two colors. White or Blue. There is a story as to why a Red car was produced. I'm sure most viewing this listing know all about it and it also being a colum shift. This car is a very close recreation of the said Red Car. Even down to the colum shift!! The car started off as a complete 1971 Firebird 350 car with a turbo 350 and one legger rear end.. Heres the build: 1972 YB 455HO block .60 over. Mahl forged pistons, UltraDyne cam 276/286-10, reconditioned rods, balanced, 86cc Edelbrock aluminum round port heads, RA IV exhaust manifolds. Turbo 400, 2200 stahl converter. 3:42 posi rear end. Car has only 1000+/- miles after restoration. This car, although very nice, is not built as a trailer queen. It has done very well in local shows but is not a concourse show car. There are some very small rock chips on the front spoiler, very small... No scratches no dents! Interior is very nice with a fresh seat and carpet kit. Dash has a dash cap installed. Looks very well and would be hard pressed to notice. The car is missing the AC compressor and brackets. Also missing the center diffuser in the interior dash panel. Its ready to drive, show, and enjoy!!! Please call with any specific questions. Rob 5o5 22o 4658 Links below to videos of the car.
