This 1957 Chevy Big Window 3100 truck was a father and son project but my dad suddenly passed away. We completed a lot of work on the truck and many items were professional rebuilt and installed, along with a lot of new parts. Unfortunately both my parents have now passed and I need to sell the truck in order to settle my parent’s estate. This truck has the Chevy 235, with dual intake, headers and power steering and modern overdrive manual transmission. The truck has been lowered with all new suspension parts and drives and handles nice. These are the items that have been recently replaced Professional rebuilt 1957 3:36 Chevy passenger car rear-end and differential Professional rebuilt New Process (A-833) four-speed with overdrive (aluminum case) with Hurst shifter linkage and new Hurst shifter. Overdrive is the fourth gear New driveshaft and yoke New 3” drop springs Front and Rear including all new spring hardware New spring shackles and pins New 3” drop axle New shocks in all corners designed to work with the dropped truck New Brakes and brake hoses New upgraded generator (no oil required) and power steering pump All new power steering hoses and components (the power steering was added as a kit so everything is brand new) New Starter Battery relocated under the cab with a battery drop out box Professional rebuilt Rochester carburetors New Fenton intake manifold NOS Corvette straight six headers (this was in great shape when we purchased it, even the heat riser functions) The headers were painted with Por-15 manifold paint New front motor mounts New front wheel bearings New dual exhaust, muffler and tips New electronic points New plugs wires with that old school look New Battery 5 lug conversion complete Paint is faded and there are spots where the paint is worn through (see pictures) on the right front fender and small spot on right door The wood bed looks like you may be able to sand and re-stain it. The electrical seems to be in good shape, the wipers recently stopped working so it may be a loose connection. The instrument gauges including the speedometer need some attention; the oil pressure works, the gas gauge works intermittently and sometimes when you tap on the glass, but all the gauges need to be repaired or replaced. The previous owner told my dad that everything was original when purchased so there are other items that could use a refresh. I do have some new parts that I will include in the purchase, for example, window regulator, door hinge, new key set, some fender felt, clutch head drivers etc, repair manual. Will also include NOS rear fenders but coordinate the transportation with the movers. I am not sure if it is okay to put them in the bed. This truck has current California registration There are things to restore (fix) on the truck, since we did not go through everything before my dad passed. We concentrated on the drive train.
