2005 Honda TRX 400 EXSolid, reliable, best-all-around atv, with the bulletproof XR engine Lightly used, not abused. Runs great Low hours, original owner Reverse gear Electric start, with a 1 year-old battery, and starts right up Simple air-cooled reliability, rather than more expensive upkeep with oil systems of a 450R, etc. This quad has no major mechanical issues that I know of. I installed a skid plate underneath the drive-train, and it was bent slightly on one corner. When my foot slipped off the left peg once, it separated the plastic trim from the peg, but you probably wouldn’t even notice it. Buy a set of nerf bars, and you won’t even want the plastic piece anymore. Yes, it has scratches; it’s an ATV. Other than that, I have no knowledge of any real issues with it. I just had the clutch adjusted at the local dealer, and they had no issues with running it either. Comes with extra air filter, maintenance manual which I bought along with the quad, and spare keys I am selling to pay college tuition, not to unload a bad apple.
