What you are bidding on in this auction is a Classic 1967 Triumph Trophy 650cc TR6R, this classic Triumph motorcycle is in good condition for a project bike and is matching numbers with a clear Oregon state title! Not salvaged or reconstructed!! The engine on this bike is in good condition, no broken fins, no cracks in the engine cases or outer covers. The engine turns over and has good compression, clutch is free and the transmission shifts through all four gears smoothly. Even the carburetor on this engine is date coded correct for this make and model triumph, the numbers on the carb reads 1/67. The numbers on the engine match the numbers on the frame and read TR6R DU 46713(See Photographs). I see no reason why this engine would not start after a minimal amount of effort. The frame on this bike is in equally good condition, has never been molested and is complete with all stock tabs and center stand. The frame also has the original Lucas headlight, and gauge brackets. The front fender has been bobbed however. This Triumph motorcycle also has near perfect chromed rims and the battery box is also present. The kickstand tab has never been broken, repaired or modified in any way. The museum quality freshly painted gas tank, front and rear fenders for this bike are also up for auction this week!! Please see my other items I am selling to see those parts as well as the correct newly chromed original parcel rack for the gas tank.
