Selling an excellent specimen garage find 1978 Volvo 242 DL. Amityville Volvo Car originally. 90,000 Original miles. Last registered in 1990. I changed all the bulbs in dash and got the gauges working when I got the car last fall, replaced driveshaft bushing and bearing. Installed new fuel injectors. Rebuilt fuel distributor. New intake gasket. Engine has good compression and was running and driving last fall, but K-jet injection system is funky. It has a tank of clean fuel after fuel flush with new fuel pump, and filter. Starter is good, as is clutch. Tires are old but have tons of tread, minor dry rot, as it was stored in a garage in NYC. Interior is overall in excellent condition without sunfade or typical cracked dash, but could use a deep clean. I have all 4 center-hubcaps, original spare and tool kit. Comes with regular original gas cap, and Volvo locking cap. Car is a manual 4 speed transmission and manual windows. Has awesome vintage WORKING tape deck radio (not volvo original). Easiest solution for the fuel issues is a LH conversion, Volvo guys know what I'm talking about. A long day and $150 and it's reliable, I just have too many projects.
