For sale is a 1950 Ford F-6 stake bed truck. The truck was originally used as a fire truck, hence the low mileage. We have no way to know that the mileage is actual; but, looking over the truck, it is conceivable. The engine is a V-8 366 CID 152 HP flathead. The engine starts and runs flawlessly. The transmission is a manual 5 speed with no overdrive. The clutch works well as do the brakes and running gear. The electrical system has been up-fitted from the original DC generator to a Motorola 6V alternator. The alternator works well and does a good job of keeping up with electrical demands. All of the dash gauges have clear face and work well. There is a cab heater as is shown in the pictures. The truck is currently equipped with a Knapheide 12' stake bed with a wooden floor. The bed floor is in sturdy and in fair condition. The truck is equipped with a new receiver style trailer hitch complete with wiring. The title is free and clear and will be signed off upon payment and pick-up of truck. We will help load the truck onto a trailer for you or your carrier; or, you can drive it away.
