1989 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Convertible for sale.I purchased this car from a 72 year old woman that purchased it brand new.It has spent most of it's life in Arizona.There is NO rust anywhere on the car at all - never has been. No dents, no dings.Beautiful shiny red paint, flawless interior.Both driver and passenger seats have lumbar support.The car has 86K miles but a freeze plug came out of the block of the original engine and so the engine was replaced under this crazy warranty she had on this car. The motor was replaced at 77,948 miles and this was in 2010. Also, the trans was replaced at 74,080 miles. She said it had started slipping. It was under the same crazy warranty program she purchased. The engine was replaced with a brand new genuine Ford crate motor. The paint isn't even burnt off the engine -looks like it was put in yesterday as well as the transmission - a genuine replacement transmission from Ford. This service was done at the dealership where she purchased the car. I have all the documentation to proove. It runs & drives like brand new. I don't think the car has EVER been punched to the floor until I purchased it. I've owned it for 2 years and have literally put no miles on the car.It runs, rides & drives like a brand new car - and looks like one as well.It has a brand new top.The previous owner was totally obsessive compulsive with this car. She referred to it as her "baby". Everything works.It comes with a car cover (shown in pictures, in the trunk). Also comes with a boot for the convertible top.
