Vehicle Detail

1969 Ford Mustang GT Coupe, factory GT car & 1 of 1 made & have the marti report documentation. She was a highly option GT car back in the day with air conditioning, power steering, power front disc brakes, deluxe interior, tachometer, 8 track, console & vinyl top. Its a project car that needs a full restoration. I know its only a coupe but its a coupe worth restoring and will be worth some money when done. Seems like everybody wants a fastback these days. She still retains its original 351 windsor 2v engine & numbers on block match the vin on car. Transmission is the FMX automatic & rearend is the 9 inch. Mileage on odometer reads 38,591, so its 138,591. I really don't think its 238,591, car has been sitting since mid 90's. The motor is not running, so it would need some TLC, I have everything there except the a/c pump brackets. It had a aftermarket 4V setup & I took it off & put the correct 2V setup, looked very clean under intake & valve covers. Motor turns over, I don't know any history on the motor, I bought it over a year ago out of an old Hop Barn in the willamete valley. I never tried to get her running as I was going to pull the motor & trans anyway. It has 1 intake bolt broken off & 1 freeze plug missing. Has headers on it, but I manage to find 1 exhaust manifold for it. Comes with all the a/c stuff, plus an extra condenser, couple alternators, 2 power steering pumps, an extra carb, pretty much have everything for this car except for the A/C pump brackets & 1 piece of rocker molding is missing. The drivers side door mirror isn't the right one & have the correct one included. Also comes with the trailer hitch, I took it off to put a better gas tank in here. Comes with alot of extra stainless windshield & drip rail trim & vinyl top molding trim I've collected. The Body has all that typical northwest rust in both lower quarters, a spot on the left trunk floor, drivers side front floor pan & up into that reinforcement panel where gas line goes thru, battery apron panel & spots on top of the engine bay area where the apron panels overlap the shock towers. Passenger door has a good size dent in it. Trunk lid has some damaged as it looks like someone tried to pry into the trunk at one time. And roof has a fist size dent on drivers side. The interior looks pretty darn good for the age, drivers seat has a little tear, headliner towards rear is coming apart, carpet coming apart on drivers side, dash pad has a couple cracks & rim blow has some cracks. This is a project car that needs a restoration down on her to make her look pretty again. I'm just being the most honest I can, sometimes I'm too honest. This would be a great little investment project for someone out there who wants something different. She has a clear title in my name. Feel free to ask questions and could haul it to a local shipping company if needed. I may deliver in the northwest area like to Portland or within a few hours for price of fuel.
