Up for sale is a wonderful 1931 Chevrolet 2-door. I am going to break the description down into 3 categories, body, mechanics and interior. Body - The entire car was redone over the winter and the paint is very, very nice. It is as pretty and shiny as the pictures show and I haven't even washed it yet. When we restored the car there were small dents and waves, but nothing large and absolutely no rust anywhere, top or bottom. The finished result shows a very straight body all around, including the undercarriage. As you can see from the pictures, the chrome grill is nice and presentable, but not perfect, along with the light bezels, and of course there is no front bumper (you can buy one for $300, new). The glass is all nice and the car looks very pretty from any distance. Mechanics - We basically went over the entire mechanics of the car and it is all very strong (which is easy to say since it is such a simple car). The car starts right up and will drive 40-45 mph with no problem. The engine, clutch, and transmission are excellent. Things like the tires and brakes are new, and I have driven the car no less than 100 miles in the last 4-5 days. Interior - This needs some work, but being a simple car it shouldn't be too hard. The seats are in OK to good condition and are original. The main headliner and trim have some rips in it and will need to be replaced. The 2 front door panels need to be redone, but I believe that is easy because they are flat. There is no rug in the car, just wood and metal floors. Once again, this is a very easy job. Overall, it is important to note that while the mechanics and body are really strong, and then some, the interior needs to be finished up.
