Up for auction is an unrestored accident rust and repair free 62' Sunliner I'm listing for a friend. The car does not run or drive and the mechanical condition is unknown. There is a large puddle of transmission fluid under the car. It is out of a 50+ car collection where most of them are unique in some way. The intention was to give this car and another one just like it with fairly close serial numbers complete rotisserie restorations. BOTH cars appear to be completely rust free. Unfortunately the collection must be downsized immediately. The odometer reads 3085 miles. I have not seen the condition of the foot pedals, but I will be trying to get more info and pictures if possible to get a better idea of the cars history. The second car reads 917 miles. Both cars have perfect glass without any pitting. Trim, bumpers, hubcaps, and chrome are in excellent condition as well. I am unsure of the original color. The convertible frame is in fine condition but the top is shot along with the dash pad. The car is located in North Hollywood California. It is for sale locally and therefore a slight and very unlikely chance of the auction ending early. The second car will be listed also. On Mar-28-14 at 09:03:26 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW INFORMATION ON THIS CAR!!! IT RUNS AND DRIVES AND WAS DRIVEN TO WHERE IT IS STORED!!!!! TRANSMISSION HAS A LEAKY SEAL. THE PRESENT OWNER BOUGHT THE CAR 7 YEARS AGO IN THE LOS ANGELES AREA ALONG WITH THE OTHER CAR IN THE PHOTOS FROM THE SAME OWNER. THE CARS WERE BOUGHT AS A PAIR. UNABLE TO DOCUMENT BUT IT APPEARS THAT THESE CARS MAY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TOGETHER AND THE MILEAGE MAY BE CORRECT AND ORIGINAL. THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS HAVE VERY MINOR WEAR IN BOTH CARS. THIS CAR CAME OXFORD BLUE WITH A BLUE INTERIOR AND WAS BUILT ON APRIL 26 1962 WITH A 352 ENGINE AND FIRST SOLD IN LOS ANGELES. THE OTHER CAR THAT IS UP FOR AUCTION SEPARATELY FROM THIS ONE HAS A 390.
