Up for auction is an unrestored accident rust and repair free 62' Sunliner I'm listing for a friend. It is out of a 50+ car collection where most of them are unique in some way. The intention was to give this car and another apparently rust free one just like it with fairly close serial numbers complete rotisserie restorations. Unfortunately the collection must be downsized immediately. This car was last registered in March of 2008. It runs and drives well without any mechanical issues. The odometer reads 917 miles. I have not seen the condition of the foot pedals, but I will be trying to get more info and pictures if possible to get a better idea of the cars history. The second car reads 3085 miles. Both cars have perfect glass without any pitting. Trim, bumpers, hubcaps, and chrome are in excellent condition as well. I am unsure of the original color. The convertible frame is in fine condition but the top is shot along with the dash pad. The car is located in North Hollywood California. It is for sale locally and therefore a slight and very unlikely chance of the auction ending early. The second car will be listed also. On Mar-28-14 at 09:29:10 PDT, seller added the following information: NEW INFORMATION ON THIS CAR!!!! THE ENGINE IS A 390 NOT A 352 AS EARLIER STATED. THE CAR WAS BUILT ON JULY 12 1962 IN CALIFORNIA AND FIRST SOLD IN LOS ANGELES. IT ORIGINALLY CAME WHITE WITH A BLACK INTERIOR. THE OWNER PURCHASED THIS CAR ALONG WITH THE OTHER CAR AS A PAIR FROM THE SAME OWNER 7 YEARS AGO. THOUGH IT CANT BE DOCUMENTED IT APPEARS THAT BOTH CARS MAY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A PAIR AND THE 917 MILES MAY BE TRUE AND ORIGINAL. THE GAS AND BRAKE PEDALS ON BOTH CARS HAVE VERY MINOR WEAR. BOTH CARS DRIVE FINE AND WERE DRIVEN TO THEIR PRESENT LOCATION. THE OTHER CAR IS UP FOR AUCTION SEPARATELY AND NEEDS A TRANSMISSION SEAL.
