Immaculately maintained over the years, 1992 BMW 735IL 4-door sedan Burgundy exterior, gray leather interior Nearly all service records 203,401K on odometer Car under inspection until December 2014 Clear Title NO RUST--ZERO Interior in very good condition Engine strong, well-maintained, good condition Power windows Sunroof A/C works, icy cold Heat works CD and radio A few small dents and left rear passenger door strip needs to be straightened and slight dent in the lip of that rear door and wheel well. Door operates perfectly. It is a cosmetic issue. There is a crack, running horizontally near the bottom of the windshield, parallel with the wiper blades; it does not obstruct the driver's view at all and it cracked in the extremely freezing we had here a few weeks ago, and, nonetheless, the car is under inspection through December 2014. All new rotors and pads installed in December 2013. New coolant overflow tank installed; new driver window relay switch installed; new thermostat installed. Car runs well BUT NEEDS NEW TRANSMISSION REBUILD; reverse gear not working. Can drive the car now in 1-2-3 and D gears and it Parks. I am the third owner of this immaculately maintained BMW sedan. The car belonged to my parents (the second owners) and was purchased from European Engineering Sales & Service in Framingham, MA in June 1996. Car was in South Carolina for most of its use by my parents. My father is a BMW and Ferrari nut and engineer and he immaculately maintained this BMW. I bought the car in November 2012 and have driven the car nearly every day until about 4 weeks ago when the transmission started to act up. It can be driven on residential roads but does not shift up into the higher gears automatically once you hit about 45MPH. I have had the car maintained at the highly respected Kesterman Foreign Car Service shop in Alexandria. I have almost all of the service records going back 18 years and other car documents. Am selling this car because I have another 540i and also have 5 kids and need to buy a minivan. Except for the TRANSMISSION, this car is in fantastic shape for being 24 years old.
