For sale is the favorite car I have owned in the past ten years or so. I always wanted a Honda Element and stumbled across this one about two years ago. I have not had the vehicle off road but did get a first hand test of it on an iced over road in the winter of 2013 and was pretty amazed at how the AWD worked and really got me through 3 miles of solid ice covered road around a favorite fishing lake. It had tires with about 50% tread on them and still made it through with the greatest of ease. It currently has about 95% of the tread on the front tires and about 70% on the rears. Front drivers seat has minor wear on sides like most of these vehicles but to stop further wear I installed leatherette seat covers last year which look and feel great. Added Yakima roof racks after purchasing and they would be ideal for carrying surf boards or other small equipment as desired. The car currently has just over 124K miles and recently had a valve adjust and oil change. Pretty trouble free car and it is a Honda. The exterior paint is shiny and near perfect with a few tiny scratches on the rear right quarter panel that do not show up in pictures. There is one tiny chip in windshield on passenger side that has not grown or spread at all in the past year. Brakes look good and work perfectly and the A/C is cold and works as it should. Seats and all accessories work as designed and can carry quite a lot of gear when needed and can even fit a washer or dryer if need be. My reason for selling is this is my fun car and I will keep my truck for work and leisure because I have two teenaged kids that just started driving and I have their big insurance costs to deal with as well as their car maintenance. I would not hesitate to buy an Element again and it has really been an all around fun ride......
