I am listing my 1980 AMC Spirit up for sale. I really hate to get rid of my car but I would like the money for another project. The car is a completely redone hot rod able to attend any car show you want to take it to. The engine is a built dodge 360 with two 4 barrel carbs on top, big cam, and headers. Engine has probably only around 4,000 miles on it since rebuild. Exhaust is true dual 2 1/2" flowmasters out the back. Transmission is a 727 with shift kit installed. Exterior of car is extremely nice with custom made rear roll pan getting rid of that nasty ass rear 80's style rear bumper. Front of car also has smoothed custom rollpan without front bumper and a 68 camaro rs/ss front air dam that fits the car awesome. The hood of the car has a dodge demon dual snorkel hood scoop that fits perfect. The paint job on this car is extremely show quality. Wheels are 15x4.5" welds on front and 15x10" welds on back with brand new 165/80/15's and 295/50/15's less than a month old. Interior of the car is nice driver qaulity and is black with a rear seat that folds down. Car has brand new cloth racing highback seats that will come with car at time of sell. The car is extremely reliable and has been driven at least 100 miles monthly since built with zero problems. I took car on a 300 mile roundtrip highway trip this summer and it ran flawlessly and got an amazing 17mpg as long as you stay at 70mph and don't get into the second carb. Only weak link in this car is the stock rearend as it is the original AMC 20. I have driven the car hard multiple times thinking it would shell out and it would give me a reason (wifes permission LOL) to build a strong dodge 8 3/4 for it.
