Up for auction is an excellent super clean 2003 Honda Valkyrie Standard, the last production year of the Valkyrie Flat 6 Cruiser. I am the second owner of this bike and purchased it with approximately 16,000 miles on it in April 2010 from a gentleman in Scottsdale, Arizona who was the original owner. It comes with the rear seat, back rest, and Memphis Shades detachable windshield and other items as described below. The bike as shown in the photos is how I typically ride it solo without these parts installed. To haul a passenger you simply bolt these parts on in a few minutes and you now have two-up riding pleasure. I added new Avon Venom tires at the beginning of the 2013 riding season along with adjustable Progressive 440 rear shocks, Kuryakyn cruise pegs, chrome tube toppers for the carburetor boots, chrome radiator mesh, and a few other little chrome accessories. I also added a set of very rare Cobra exhaust conical tips however the original OEM tips will go with the bike, along with another set of new and hard to find Cobra slash tips all in excellent condition. The Cobra tips are no longer in production and are very hard to find. The exhaust “piggies” were cut off which frankly gives this 6 cylinder muscle cruiser the nice throaty sound it truly deserves under acceleration without being obnoxiously loud and without affecting emissions or gas mileage. I had all the the fluids replaced, valves adjusted, carburetors synchronized, rear shaft greased, etc. about 5,000 miles ago and it idles and runs like a new bike. I do have a set of brand new leather OEM Valkyrie marked saddlebags with EZ Brackets on a separate auction that are for this bike, along with a new Ultimate Low Boy seat with backrest, but am not selling these items with the bike on this auction because not everyone wants or likes leather bags on the Valkyrie nor will everyone necessarily want the Ultimate seat due to height, leg length, etc. This Valkyrie is in excellent condition for a 2003 motorcycle. It has always been kept in the garage, on a battery tender, and fires right up every single time even on the coldest Colorado day. During the winter months I keep the fuel stabilized and start the engine every weekend. After winter I remove the stabilized fuel and add fresh premium gas. This bike runs beautifully with zero issues, no leaks, and no problems. The only imperfection is a scrape on the bottom side of the left rear header that is not visible at all unless you were to lie on the ground and look up at the bottom of the header. This Valkyrie is truly a classic and a pleasure to ride. This bike is being sold AS IS. On Mar-13-14 at 20:11:11 PDT, seller added the following information: NOTE: To clarify about the EZ Bracket bolts that are on the rear fender rails (in the photos), these will be removed and the stock OEM fender rail bolts will be placed back in. I had forgot and left these on the bike when I took the photos however bidders and watchers on the saddlebags auction have rightfully asked if the EZ Bracket fender bolts come with the bags, therefore the answer is YES. Secondly, to clarify again about the scrape on the left header, it is on the bottom side in the middle and can not be seen unless you lie on the ground and look up. This was the condition of the header when I purchased the bike and it does not hurt anything, it is not readily visible even by someone riding beside you, and it does not distract from the rest of the condition of this Valkyrie.
