watch this youtube video of this car click link below or copy and paste it in your browser box. http://youtu.be/YqtTBCqod_M 88 jaguar xjs, has a good running v-12 engine automatic 400 turbo tranny, shifts good, been working on her . its my daily driver, but moving out of state and she cant go and she cant stay with out me.shes primered brown, almost ready for paint, had to fix a couple bad body panels , the drivers side front fender had a rust spot I repaired also the passengers side behind rear tire has a patch of rust I had to fix, the rest of the car is virtually rust free, the frame is also perfect and rust free, it drives very well, but recently a problem with the steering came up, there is slack in the steering when centered, but ive still been driving it and will continue until its sold, the springs on the shocks are loose and they bounce around and make noise over bumps, but once again it still seems to be okay, just noisy, I don't feel anything abnormal about it, the passenger seat is weathered and the passenger window is not on track and will not stay up, ( hince the weathered seat) when I got this car the seats were not in the best shape, and I treated them and got nice and sof and plyable again, then the passenger window slipped down and got rained on a few times with in a week or so only, and it shrunk up the leather once again.. they are heated seats also and im not sure about the passenger one but the drivers side heat works great , I am just posting a few pics from last week for now, will add more better recent pics tomorrow ( 3-10-14 so please allow me to get those posted before you bid, so you know where the project currently stands , I am working on this vehicle every day and will continue to do so until auction ends, I will post pics as it comes along, so once again please do not bid until you know what state of condition it is at the moment of your bid, I may and most likely will even have it painted before the end of the auction, ( jet black ) so if that is an issue please contact me and let me know, and check to make sure that I haven't already started or something,, please let me know if I can help in any way to make sure your going to be satisfied with this vehicle before you purchase it. thanks just added some pics of the girl before the restore. to give an idea what kinda condition she was in when I got her.. I fixed 3 small spots that were infected with rust. 1 on drivers front fender, and one on drivers side small spot on side of wheel well and the one spot in the picture posted on passenger rear quarter. the repair job came out nice. and extremely solid. , will up load more pics of it tomorrow, if weather permits I will be sanding the primer smooth putting on a second coat. this update was posted 10:49 pm eastern standard time zone 3/11/2014 thanks.
