1965 Mustang 6 cylinder coupe. Automatic transmission, looks like original floors, looks like original paint, clear title in my name with current California registration. The car starts but will not stay running. I have not driven the car to test anything else. The car has rust int he doors near the hinge, and a little rust around the fuel tank in the trunk. There is a dent on the roof of the car, a dent in the passenger fender and a dent on the hood. This car is in need of a full restoration, It can not be driven anywhere. I have applied a rust preventive compound to the affected areas. the engine compartment looks clean and the interior of the car has little to no rust. I think the floor pans are original and they are in good shape. I removed the carpet to inspect for any rust damage. The headliner was removed prior to my purchasing the vehicle. The front seats need to be recovered, the rear seat is in ok shape. The windshield has what looks like a bullet hole and needs to be replaced. I didnt find any bullet holes in the car ( no exit wound). The rear tires are flat and will not hold air. The engine will run when I pour fuel in but will not stay running; the carburetor is in need of repair. The car needs a new ignition key/lock set. This is a full resto car here but its a solid southern California car with minimal rust. Thanks for looking and feel free to contact me for more info.
