Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a Great Little project. This is a 1967 VW beetle that was shipped here from the UK several years ago so yes it is right hand drive. I purchased it to restore it for a toy but at this point I have more than I can stand as far a projects go. The car is pretty solid with no major rust and it runs pretty good. The brakes are awful but will stop the car but you need to tow it home. The fellow I purchased it from is the one who bought it from the couple that had it shipped in from the UK. and he had it in his garage for awhile and ran into the same situation Im in. It cranks easy and runs pretty good but seem to load up a little after it gets warm and it does leak a little oil. When I get this old I feel pretty sure I will leak a little to. I have alot of trim pieces and the original hub caps but there not the best but there here. I also have the original tags from the uk. Please read this part!!!!!!!!! I have a Virginia title from the uk folks and it is signed over to the previous owner. Now in GA if a vehicle is older than a 85 all you need is a bill of sale. This is what the previous owner did. He just ran it on a bill of sale and had current tags on it when I purchased it. The reason He didnt get a ga title is because of a new tax they started charging for tags and it cost out the butt. (if you live in ga you know what I mean) Registering it on a bill of sale was alot cheaper and he wasnt finished with it so thats what he did. I never tagged it so all I have is paperwork. I do have all the paperwork from the UK so you should have no problems. Please check with your state before you ask me what you need to do. Because I have no idea about any other state but Ga. Call your DMV. If you want to get more detailed info on the paperwork then shoot me an email with your phone number and a good time to call and I will call ya. If you are close enough to come see it then we can set that up and you can drive it around the block. Please feel free to ask any and all questions before you bid and do not bid unless you plan to buy. This is a no reserve auction so if you bid and win then you own it. Shipping is no problem at all but it is up to the buyer. I can assist with loading on a truck and I have a few folks I have used in the past and I can pass there info along if needed. Im only 2 miles off I20 and there is plenty of room here to load it (that does make a differance)
