Vehicle Detail
I am re-listing this car due to a non-performing buyer. I have lowered the price as well. Well I'm sure no expert on Fords, but I found this 1970 Mach 1 sitting in a Barn.It has sat basically idle for somewhere between 5-10 years. The owner had big plans, but it was too far down on his list to "get-to". This car is just how I found it. I think it would be a neat car to restore, or perhaps make into a daily driver? Here's what I know about the car......This is a genuine mach 1 and is an H code car.It came originally with a 351 V-8 and factory 4 speed transmission (The clutch peddle Assembly is still in the car) It now has a low mileage H.O. 302 crate engine, and a new c-4 automatic transmission. It has factory disc brakes. Some of the body parts are just bolted in place "finger tight" etc. The trunk and back seat are full of parts and pieces (door panels bumpers etc.). I know it is missing the driver side door window, the gas tank, and dash cover. There is no headliner either. Some gas caught on fire one day, and singed the paint in a few spots etc.(up front). This Mustang is not rusty at all, like most Mach's.The trunk and floors are in excellent shape. As are the rockers boxes. Although the previous owner was an amature, there is plenty here to build a neat car for someone in the know.I'm not in the know enough to tell just what is missing and what is not. I do know the grill is not correct for this car.All of this information is to the best of my knowledge and as honest and straight up as I can be. Please do not bid on this car and be dissapointed it's not like new.The car has never been wrecked. This car is a project car and over 44 years old, and I am selling it as-is. I would much rather you plan for the worst and hope for the best than be disappointed in any way.I have a clear and open Colorado title for it as well as the keys. My opening bid is $ 7,950.00 with no reserve. (it needs a new home...It can't stay here). It's sure not perfect, but I honestly can't imagine finding a better car for the price, and remember... it is a 1970 Mach 1 Terms of sale...I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can. If you have zero feedback, contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled, and you will be blocked from further bidding as well. A $200.00 non-refundable deposit through Pay Pal is required within 48 hours of auction's end. PayPal is acceptable for the deposit only. The balance is due via bank/certified check, or cash in person within 7 days of the auctions end. If you are an out of the states buyer, I will gladly work with you in regards to the time and details it takes to process payment. Thank you
