I got to see the car and meet your dad. I loved the car. Looks great. I was able to check out the engine. There was no coolant in the reservoir, but I expected that. Also, I could see signs of leaking from the front water pump and upper radiator hose. Unfortunately, when I checked the dipstick, the oil looked like it "might" have some water in it as it had the slight "chocolate milk" look to it. I also didn't see any evidence of the "chocolate milk" under the valve cover cap. It wasn't a conclusive test. In addition, even after several minutes of trying to jump start, the engine would only turn over, and then at that slowly. It was low on fuel, and perhaps with an overnight charge, it might be better, but I am concerned about how long it remained overheated on the day your dad had trouble with it.I am looking at other vehicles right now, but I really like this car. If we were able to get it started to hear the engine run, that would change a lot of things. Replacing a water pump or headgasket is no big deal for me to do personally, but I don't have another engine "in stock" right now.Let me get back to you after the weekend and I've had a bit more time to thinking about it " ******** Thanks to Mr. X-Ray , for your Honest opinion !
