Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a wonderful survivor 1969 Ford F-250 Ranger 390 Camper Special truck with the original 390 cubic inch FE engine. The truck has NO major rust issues, wears original New Lime two-tone green paint still shining nicely. Good original chrome, stainless and aluminum trim, grilles, etc. Options in include the Camper Special heavy-duty 3/4-ton suspension, factory receiver hitch bumper, trailer brake, power steering, power brakes, factory cab running lights (too cool!), and of course the Ranger trim package. The truck runs, drives, steers, stops, etc. very well, and is an absolute pleasure to drive. The body panels are very straight, body lines nice and even, paint still shiny, doors close perfectly and easily, hood and tail gate open and close properly. The interior is bone stock other than a missing radio (no cutting done to dash), and aftermarket tachometer. The headlights, tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, wipers, and heater all work properly. Power steering, power brakes. Original upholstery, still in good usable survivor condition. Dash and one arm rest are cracked. The engine is the original 390 with 94K miles and it runs great with lots of power, no funky noises, no burning oil, smoke, etc. Very solid engine. Transmission shifts as it should, and the rear end is in proper working order. New battery, recent tune-up and fluid service. The underside of the truck is solid and sound. The wheels are the original 16" versions with good rubber. The only apparent rust on the truck is very minor: one tiny spot on the driver's door. There are also four small holes on the leading edge of the hood, apparently from a former wind screen. Floors, fenders, bed, etc. all are sound. Clear title in hand. I must reserve the right to end the auction early as I have it advertised for sale locally as well. Please feel free to call me to discuss your purchase at 360-936-9257. While every effort is being made to describe the truck accurately, it is in fact a 45-year-old classic used vehicle, and being sold as-is, without any warranty or guarantee expressed, written, or implied. Shipping is the full responsibility of the buyer. I will make myself available for pickup on short notice. Payment must be made in full within 3 days via cash, bank wire transfer, or possibly major bank cashier's check... check with me first, please. No zero-feedback bidders without checking with me first, please.
