Selling my 1971 Mustang convertible. Top works great, has glass rear window. Manual steering and brakes. Car looks great going down the road, could use an interior refresh, but it is all there. Runs smooth as silk and drives strong. Back seat is fine, small tear in front seats, but seat covers are new and make it look decent. It is 42 years old, a true classic and pretty rare. There were only about 6700 made as convertibles I believe. It has the 302 V8 and a C4 Automatic transmission. Odometer shows about 58000, but has probably rolled to 158,000 (possibly not). Has wood steering wheel. Some pictures are taken without the rear (Mach 1) spoiler, so you have an idea of what it looks like both ways, but the spoiler is currently installed. Get compliments every time I have taken her out, and she has always been garaged and covered since ive owned her. I am military and I move around too much to keep this one. I have two other mustangs and just dont have the time for all my toys. I am not forced to sell, so please no lowballers. This car can only grow in value from now, and she doesnt need much to be mint. From the research I have done, this is an all original car with matching paint code. Have a bunch of additional/spare parts for the car as well. Car has blue texas title but says rebuilt/salvage in the remarks. I think it was taken out of the system when it was restored about 12 years ago, and to put it back in the dmv it was as rebuilt.
