Up for auction is a "Harley" board track racer replica. This bike was built with the nostalgic styling of an auto cycle board track racer of the early 1900's. It was hand crafted by motorcycle builders here in the Midwest. Although it looks old, it was actually built and finished, just this past week. All patina is faux, the bike is NOT rusty, its actually quite nice. The painstaking barn find finish make this into a truly fantastic conversation piece. Countless hours into the finish alone. The bike runs great and will get up to about 45 MPH. It is a blast to ride and gets about 60mpg. I personally have only put about 3 miles on it since it was built, mainly to insure that everything is functioning as it should. I have built a few of these within the past year and the attention the bikes get is ridiculous, sometimes almost annoying. Seams that everyone that sees them wants to talk about them and take a few pictures. So if you plan to ride it around your town, be prepared for a few questions and a photo opp or two! Many of our customers like to display these bikes as art/conversation pieces as well as ride them. They are a great addition to your/his, "Man Cave", den, or office. They are truly pieces of functional art.... The pictures where taken on 2/21/14) and represent the bike as it sits ready to ship to your door step. We are centrally located in the US being just outside of Chicago IL, therefore shipping costs are relatively the same no matter where it is to be shipped in the lower 48. Bike can be shipped in a few different way. 1) It can be crated in a bike shipping crate and sent Via FedEx anywhere in the lower 48. 2) It could be shipped though a vehicle/motorcycle shipping company,(usually more expensive then FedEx). The bike is for sale to US customers only. I will not ship overseas at this time. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer. As stated above, I will assist with quotes if needed. A deposit of $300 is due within 24hrs of auction end. The remaining balance less the deposit can be made via bank to bank transfer, cash in person at pickup or some other form of certified funds. Please note that bike is a custom vehicle and will require some adjusting for the comfort of the individual rider. The bike will be sold as is, in fully operable condition with a bill of sale.
