Vehicle Detail
I purchased this 2012 BMW in August of 2012 and have been the sole rider. It has always been garaged and well cared for by a type A personality. Recent oil and filter change only a few hundred miles ago with factory products. I have enjoyed the roads here in Central Oregon, but am selling this as all my friends have pushed me into riding in the dirt. All that is pictured will come with the bike including the Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen (and the original OEM windscreen), the LightTech frame sliders, TRex case protectors and Driven spools. The sale with also include a factory oil filter tool as well as the tool to remove the front axle and a socket to remove the rear axle. (FYI, the two tire changes were done carefully by professionals and there are no marks on the rims). If you want a set of Pitbul stands, we can discuss making a separate listing for those (purchased when I got the bike). Two more important notes - while this bike has been sport bike of the year for the last several years, the one failure that owners are familiar with are with the grips. They are hard and provide no feel, which was not an option for me. Take a close look at the photos of both the left and right bars and notice that I have painstakingly removed the hard rubber down to the tubes and replaced them with ACTUAL replaceable soft grips. They feel great and both the grip heaters work perfectly underneath. The other note is that there is a small, superficial scratch on the rear swing arm which you can see better with many more higher resolution images: http://amplifiedcontent.com/BMW/ The mileage of 5392 shown will be how you receive the bike, meaning it will not be ridden further (it is winter here after all..) So why purchase this bike over a new one in the shop? - Already through the awful break in period with the first service already completed- Red/White color scheme which has been discontinued - Several hundred dollars of additional parts; pretty much everything you need and want- Grip issue solved- Save several thousand dollars over a new purchase- 3 year warranty transfers to new owner, meaning you still have the same level of security as you do with a new purchase with just a little less time (1 year, 7 months remaining) Thank you for looking and please contact me with any questions. I will be glad to communicate in whatever way you find most convenient.
