Vehicle Detail
For sale is a metallic green 2002 Mini Cooper with beige heated leather seats in excellent shape. The car has cruise control, great AC, and tinted windows. It comes with the original window sticker and owner's manual. It has a clean carfax and has had frequent oil changes using only Mobil 1 synthetic oil. No accidents plus it has original paint and gets great gas mileage. In the past two years the car has gotten: • Koni adjustable shocks • New H&R springs • Adjustable rear camber links • Hotchkiss rear sway bar Along with the thousands of dollars in suspension improvements the car has also received in the last two years: • New radiator and thermostat • New Bosch battery • New front and rear brakes (pads and rotors) • New Hankook tires (at 66,000 miles) • New wiper blades front and rear The car drives and shifts gears very well but the transmission has gotten a little noisier in the last few months. My mechanic said it was probably due to wear of the input shaft bearing and eventually would need to be replaced. I changed the gear oil to Redline synthetic and the car remains very drivable as is (the clutch is fine). Also the driver's side electric mirror doesn't work that well (the glass has a limited range of motion) and the car has a couple of dings and dents but they are hard to photograph (I think a paintless dent removal guy could remove them quite easily). None of these issues detract from the way the Mini performs and never bothered me but I wanted to disclose everything I know about the car. My wife and I recently inherited another car and we don't need three so the Mini goes because it's the least used. It's a great looking vehicle and is such a blast to drive because it handles so amazingly well! Please ask any questions before bidding. Thanks!
