I'm selling my 1964 Econoline van because it's just been sitting here since we moved to Florida, and I think it should be driven more. It only has 64,351 miles on it today! Primarily because it has sat most of it's life. It has a 200 six cylinder engine that runs good, with the rare factory column mounted 4 speed transmission with a brand new clutch. All brakes were recently replaced with new master cylinder, shoes, cylinders, and new hoses. I recently drove it two hours each way to an Econoline FL Meet in Orlando, and a great time was had by all, excellent group! Van runs smooth and quiet, shifts good, but is a little hinky from 2nd to 3rd; I believe it's the shift lever bushings on the column, and I just received new ones that I should have installed by the end of the auction. Van is originally from the Missouri-Arkansas border and is very solid for 50 years old! As you can see, the paint is mostly original with touch-ups here and there, but very original looking. Only change is the cool Hurst wheels and BFG tires, which have gotten a lot of compliments. Inside the van, you can see that I built a raised floor with drawers in the side and rear doors for storage. Before I built that, I cleaned up and painted the floor with gray POR-15 to keep it from rusting. I have new sage green short shag carpet on the floor, and I bought enough to do the doors and roof if wanted. Should be very cool!
