This auction is for a 1987 Austin Rover Group Mini. I imported it from Japan last year, and am now selling it. I import a few cars a year from Japan for resale, as I have a friend there that sends them to me. This car runs very well, and has been through an Out Of Province Inspection in AB Canada. I don't know the complete history on the car, but have done a little research. After decoding the VIN, it appears that this car was born LHD, and switched to RHD at a later date. Car is in very good condition overall as far as signs of wear, but does have some rust issues as described. Odometer reads 21757 KM, but I have no idea if that is the original mileage. However, the interior condition does reflect the stated mileage. Car has power brakes with disc in front and drum in rear There appears to be a few aftermarket upgrades to the car including the following: - MINI SPORT ADJUSTA RIDE SUSPENSION -SPAX HIGH PERFORMANCE GAS SHOCKS WITH ADJUSTABLE DAMPENING -NEWER MINI COOPER 12 INCH RIMS WITH NICE DUNLOP 145/70/12 TIRES -LUKEY MUFFLER & chrome tip out rear center -Aluminum Tappet Cover -Wooden / Aluminum Moto-Lita Steering wheel & Rover wooden shift knob -"Austin Seven" engraved on chrome gas door If you are interested in this car as LHD, I do have the parts here to convert it. I have a complete front half of a car the same vintage here that is LHD and it looks very easy to change. If you want me to do the work, I can do it for a reasonable fee on top of purchase price. I can also replace the section of the floor panel that is rusted for a reasonable fee.
