Vehicle Detail

THIS CAR IS ALSO FOR SALE LOCALLY, SO THE AUCTION COULD END AT ANY TIME First, thanks for taking the time to look at my ad. Second, I want to apologize for the pictures; I strive to have higher quality pictures. I was losing daylight fast and I used my cell phone. My parents initially purchased this 1999 Dodge Stratus after it was a "demo car" with 24,000 miles. My mother drove it for the first 8 years and then my father drove it, 62 miles a day, for the next 4 years. In the time that my father was driving it, only basic repairs/replacements were necessary. I purchased the car in January 2012 from my parents for my wife to drive. She drove it from January 2012 to October of this year (it was her birthday and she wanted a Jeep). January 9, 2009: Replaced engine Water Pump & Camshaft Timing Belt at 156,821 miles. January 7, 2012: Replaced engine starter with new unit from Advance Auto Parts. May 8, 2012: Replaced driver's side front wheel bearing, passenger side lower ball joint. May 15, 2012: Replaced engine air filter and PCV valve from O'Reilly Auto Parts at 193,290 miles. May 15, 2012: Replaced rear deck speakers with Scosche 6x9s. *** Drove car to Michigan; 970 miles each way *** June 1, 2012: Replaced fuel filter, rear brake shoes, rear wheel cylinders. June 5, 2012: Replaced fuel pump assembly. June 21, 2012: Replaced front struts from Advance Auto Parts. July 5, 2012: Replaced all 4 tires with Mastercraft 195/75R14 tires at 198,143 miles. January 2, 2013: 4 tires rotated and balanced at 202,415 miles. March 31, 2013: Replaced front brake rotors and brake pads from O'Reilly Auto Parts. May 27, 2013: Replaced windshield wiper blades at 205,896 miles. August 17, 2013: Replaced PCV to valve cover hose. November 28, 2013: Replaced deteriorated Valve Cover to Resonator hose. The Bad:Rear Defroster doesn't work. Front works great and works fast. Headliner is coming down around front and rear windshields. Front-end suspension "scrubs/makes noise"; it's done this for over 4 years and we cannot find the issue. Driver's side mirror base has a crack in it. It was like this when my parent's first purchased the car and it in no way affects the car or the mirror's function. Driver's side seat belt adjuster has broken, so the seat belt can no longer be raised and lowered on the b-pillar. This does not affect seat belt function. Interior is in very good condition for the year, but it is slightly faded. Bottom portion of rear seat has a small burn hole in it, driver's door panel has wear. Air Conditioner worked fine up until a few months ago; I'm looking into repairs. This will be repaired before the car is sold, or I will deduct $100 from the purchase price. Rear bumper has minor scrapes on the top center portion, as seen in the pictures. The clearcoat on the roof and trunk lid is all but gone. Overall, this is a very solid car for the money. I honestly wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has been to the mountains of North Carolina several times and as mentioned, driven to Michigan, without fault. It would make a great first car or daily commuter. * I've got several more pictures that are not posted here. I can email them to potential buyers. * Currently car has 208,7XX miles, but this will change as the vehicle is still being driven.
