This rare color Steel Blue Pearl Coat 2001 Jeep Wrangler is in very good to excellent condition with only 84,681 original miles. The most notable quality this Jeep has is the fact that most of its life was spent in Texas and California. The second owner brought this Jeep to Illinois in May of 2011 and only added about 2,500 miles since arriving in Illinois. This explains the rust free frame (see pictures). I checked Kelly Blue Book used price values on this Jeep, with these miles, in Very good condition private party, and was given a price of $9,764. I was given a price of $10,089 in excellent condition. I would say this Jeep is easily In the middle of these two condition categories. This jeep has an ultra-high rating on autocheck only 4 points off a perfect 100 score at 96! This Jeep has Grey Interior that is in excellent condition with only minor blemishes. The windshield had 3 chips in the glass so I installed a brand new windshield and moldings the day before this Jeep was listed here for sale. The 6-cylinder engine has no corrosion anywhere! The floor pans, frame and underside are rust free at about 97 percent. I have been around Jeeps my whole life and I was amazed by the undersides condition. The entire frame is still smooth to the touch. I was so impressed at the condition I had the entire frame painted with a gloss black hardened frame paint to preserve the frame for many more years to come. Even the frame rubber is fresh with no cracking or rotting. This alone makes this Jeep a great Buy Now price. Not counting the fact that Steel Blue Pearl is the rarest color ever done in a TJ model wrangler, and the nicest color in my opinion. The exterior on this jeep is 100 percent original paint, no accidents and no dents or dings, and the paint shines like new.(there are some minor small scratches on the hood but that’s it). This Jeep was always garage kept and it shows in the condition of the body. The floor pans are clean and still have excellent paint on them. The windshield frame and hinges are completely rust free. Mechanically this Jeep is fantastic. The transmission and engine run and function excellent and the power is still great on this jeeps engine. Absolutely no oil or transmission leaks. The drive is excellent with no rattles or other noises. The air-conditioning is nice and cold! The four-wheel driver works excellent! The interior seats, dash and instrumentation are in great condition.(the driver seat has a crack in the vinyl by the seat adjuster) There is a small crack in the passenger side rear window that is about 4 inches long. It is taped and does not leak. The top is factory original and does not need replacement. I did replace the front zipper windows brand new. The tires are anywhere from excellent to poor. One tire is like new two are maybe 60 percent tread and one is 20 percent tread. The spare holds air but it’s in poor condition. A new set of tires is all you really need investment wise. This Jeep is a perfect candidate for any custom conversion work and lift kits will be easy since the underside and frame are rust free. You could find this Jeep for a thousand or so less if you look long enough but I know you don’t see many this nice in a good color with good mileage for this buy it now price.
