1974 Volkswagen Panel Bus. RESTORED !!! You are looking at a great example of a recently restored panel bus. I will try to describe it to the best of my knowledge but you are always welcome to contact me for any additional questions. - 100% rust free - 52,938 documented original miles. Bus had 51,167 miles in 1995, 52,084 miles in 1998 and 52,223 in 2008. - I am the 3rd owner but 2nd owner never drove it and he started most of the restoration process but didn't complete. - Great looking white paint with a glossy finish including interior and engine compartment but has minor scuffs/blemishes not very noticeable. - Custom seat and door panels upholstery in white/blue vinyl. - Seat frames were sandblasted and powder coated back. - New seat stand surrounds mats, seat stand mats and front floor mat. - New headliner with a minor 3 in. cut at top on drivers side. - New window rubbers including german window scrapers. - New door seals and door handle seals. - New exterior mirrors. -New tires with aluminum beauty rings and original hubcaps. - Engine is original to the bus and was running good before the restoration thus it was still rebuilt for a perfect performance. - Rebuilt transmission. - Solid frame and chassis rust free. - New headlights and german taillight lens. - Dash was replaced and it may be from a different bus year because some other holes are present under the steering wheel area (next to light switches). - Overall this bus is in great cosmetic and mechanical condition.
