1976 BMW 2002 E10 I am selling because I am moving to Hawaii, otherwise, I would not sell it. It is a great daily driver that is both fun and reliable. It is my favorite toy, but the worse thing for any BMW is to not run it on day-to-day basis. So storage is not an option. I will probably get another one in several years. Same exact one if I could. This Bimmer has been my daily driver for over a year. I have upgrade it and customized it. A little History on this BMW 2002: I purchased from the Turner Broadcasting System – a Wilmington NC studio. This BMW was in a 2012 TNT movie called the Hornest’s Nest. It was used frequently on the set and was made to look very old. The Studios painted it to look rusty. I repainted to back to black. Prior to my purchase the engine was overhauled as was the transmission. They installed a new 32/36 weber carburetor, BMW 320i radiator. In the last 1-5 years the brakes have been redone, the clutch, the water pump, alternator, carburetor, head gasket, motor mounts, hoses (fuel and radiator), guibo unit, electrical system, and start ignition button. PRO’s Strong engine. and Strong Transmission. No issues on these. New wiring throughout by ez wiring 20 circuit. Installed high flow 4:1 header and 2" exhaust strait out. Nice and throaty. All new gauges, works great. Tach, GPS Speedo, volt/fuel/oil pressure/temp, clock, vacuum and air/fuel mix (very useful): For more info on these, check out speedhut on the WWW about the gauges. I highly recommend for any upgrades. Cool and beneficial site. New paint job. Dynamat interior and doors. 4 speed. Strong and reliable. Weber carb. 32/36 dual down draft type 4 rally style lighting. 30 mpg. The engine is in excellent mechanical condition. There is NO RUST on the struts, shock towers, excellent condition for the age. CON’s a/c heat and gauges are removed as is the interior carpet and chrome trim pieces. They are gone and are not necessary. The AC unit never worked, the heater is for people who live up north. I was going to replace the carpet, about $200 from w.only02.com. The chrome was a personal choice, some pieces were bent and missing, so I took them all off. The sun roof does not work. My recommendation is to install a sliding top sunroof. The rust is maintained to just the spare tire well and some minimal surfaces. Always get thumbs up. The only one like it in town.
