I have a 1981 Volkswagen rabbit pickup 1.6L diesel, 40 mpg, 5 speed for sale. This truck is in very good shape, and runs great, and starts very easy. I have put a new motor, new injection pump, new injectors, new clutch, and many other new parts. To many to list all motor and suspension related. Getting parts for these VW trucks are very easy to get. I have put $5000 worth of new parts in this truck in the last 18 months and I have all the receipts to prove it. Most of the parts came from partsplaceinc.com. The truck itself has 212,000 miles on it and the new motor only has 11,000 on it. The paint is in good shape but there are a few chips and minor rust. I also have a few spare parts that will go with the truck as well as a spare set of GTI rims. The gas gauge did stop working since I have owned it but since I have put so much money in this truck already I just decided to sell it that way and not get it fixed. These trucks are rare and one in this good of shape is even rarer. This is a great truck! If you are from out of state and want to fly into the nearest airport (St. Louis) then I will be happy to pick you up and take you to the truck.
