Vehicle Detail
super solid 1967 amc rambler american rogue. numbers correct with 290 v/8. floor shifted automatic with bucket seats. correct amc model 20 v/8 rearend. blackstone radiator. power steering. electric wipers. front sway bar. two tone paint blue over white. hello and thank you for checking out my auction. i have on consignment a very nice mostly original 67 v/8 rogue. i am an amc fanatic from way back and i specialize in mostly rambler americans. but i have owned and enjoyed just about every model of amc produced with a bias towards any smaller cars with hot rod potential. this car is in my possesion and i will be happy to answer any questions or take any additional photos you may want. the car is currently liscensed and road worthy and i encourage you to check it out in person if this is an option. i am an honest seller with 100% feedback and have sold and shipped many v/8 powered amc cars here on ebay. this car has a lot going for it and the new owner will be very pleased with the condition of this rare gem. the amc 290 motor runs and looks great. it has an edelbrock intake manifold with a holley carburetor. the manifold is the later sp2p and has been slotted on the inside holes to fit the earlier engine. the carburetor appears new and has an electric choke. but the choke is not hooked up and is wired to be open all the time. the valve covers are the polished edelbrock finned aluminum. (the original valve cover tag is included and if you want stock valve covers and hardware we can work something out) this car was originaly equiped with the two barrell carburetor and single exhaust. dual exhaust was never an option on the americans, with the exception of the 1969 sc/ramblers. this car has a new dual exhaust system with flowmaster type mufflers and chrome tips. it sounds great without being too loud. the automatic transmission is also new with less than 50 miles on complete and professional rebuild with reciepts. engine and trans work great with no leaks smoke or funny noises. brakes are manual drum all around with good pedal pressure. new or rebuilt master cylinder. car has power steering and electric wipers and a factory installed front sway bar. the electric washer bag with pump is there but the bag needs to be replaced due to the pump being seperated from the cracked and brittle bag. the radiator appears to be the original blackstone two core. there is no fan shroud on the car. the body on this car is very straight and rust free. when i say rust free i mean no rust holes or rust thru. there is surface rust obviously but very minimal. the battery box area is the worst spot but it is not bad at all. i will get better pictures with the battery removed. the floor boards rear quarters and trunk are super solid with no signs of any damage or repairs. all of the chrome trim not on the car is included and is in the trunk. most all of the trim is in excellent condition with a few exceptions. one of the lower trim pieces is damaged and one small trim piece on the rear tail light panel is broken. i will add pictures of the trim and other items that come with the car. speaking of extras. the car has a set of brand new correct amc keys cut to work with all the locks on the car. and a extra set of later style amc keys for a spare set. also comes with a 1967 factory service manual, owners manual, and the dealer color sales brochure with rambler american and rambler rebel. (combo brochure 1/2 american 1/2 rebel) the car also has an nos locking gas cap and the correct 1967 american hood ornament. (not sure if this was nos or a reproduction but it looks very nice) there is a complete set of the correct full size wheel covers in the trunk. and an extra outside door mirror. the interior is all there but needs a complete makeover. the headliner is in place and in good shape. original radio and trim. dashpad is cracked but all there and restorable. drivers side door panel has a rip or tear in it. nice armrests. (the missing trim on passenger side is with the car) the steering wheel is very nice as is the steering collumn. the glove box is missing the fiberboard inner box. these are available as reproductions. the rear window was removed and resealed. the front windshield is crack free but has some clouding around the edges. the rubber seal leaks a little and should be replaced. the front rubber was available for a while but when the owner did the rear glass he was not able to find the the correct one for the front. there were two types of chrome windshield trim and two different gaskets. this car uses the trim that sits on top of the rubber. the seats are in good condition as far as the frames and foam padding, but the seat covers are toast. litteraly the seats look like they were set too close to a heat source and are browned and crunchy. all the seat belts are present and restorable. the floor shift console is in good condition and complete. the door sill plates are the correct ones and are in decent condition. all the windows roll up and down. the dash wiring is unmolested and in good condition. the rear package shelf has two small circles cut out (about the size of the magnets for a 6"x9" speaker. about 3" ) i would have to say the interior looks ratty but all the important components are there and 100% restorable. with the exception of the chromed plastic bottom seat trim. the ones with the car are included but damaged. this car will be sold as is where is with no warranties of any kind. $500.00 non refundable deposit due within 24 hours of sale. (no exceptions) balance due within 7 days. i can store the car for a fee if needed. and i will assist your shipper in any way necessary. but you will need to arrange and pay for any shipping on your end. car is located in everett wa 98208. i have a large flat parking area in front of my house that makes for a safe and easy load up for your shipper. i have the car listed for sale localy and i reserve the right to end the auction at any time. if you are interested in this car i strongly encourage you to act fast this car is in great shape and with the very reasonable reserve i expect it will find a new home before the auction ends. i will not reveal the reserve and trades are not likely. i will entertain offers and pass along any trade offers but the owner wants a porsche and less cars in his collection not more. serious bidders only please. zero or negative feedback bids will be cancelled. if you have zero or bad feedback and would like to bid, please contact me first. thank you. ron.
