Vehicle Detail

I'm selling my Black Trans Am and I will be as honest as possible about the car. I build custom cars for a living so we are very picky about quality and restoration work. This is what I would call a nice entry level or a little above entry level muscle car that runs great, mechanically is sound, sounds great, is reliable and turns heads wherever you go. This is however not a restored car or a show car, or a perfect car. It is a nice solid car that you can drive anywhere and work on it as you go. Starting with the body, it is a Non T Top car that has had a recent paint job. I would call the paint a 6 to 7 out of 10 with some chips, minor cracks in the paint, small rust bubble at the bottom of the door, not much clear at the rocker panels or under them. The gaps are fair, doors shut good, hood and trunk latch and shut good. Bodywork is also 6 out of 10 in my opinion but I'm picky, minor dings here and there but a really nice 10 footer. Going down the road it looks awesome and the paint shines very nice, it is a basecoat/clearcoat finish. The interior is mostly stock, the good is new headliner, new door panels, dash pad cover but not installed great, new carpet. The bad, seats are original and are faded, work correctly but not great looking, the interior plastic trim is aged as most of them are, some areas cracked or damaged, heat and AC are present but do not work, no compressor, heater core is blocked so I assume it is no good. It is an original red interior car and has a CD player that works on CD only, guess it doesn't have an antenna. Gauges are all there but only the fuel gauge and voltmeter work, two aftermarket guages, oil and water work, no speedo or tach working. The engine is a Pontiac 400 with a small cam I'd say a Comp 270 Magnum range, it has a nice lope at idle but not too agressive, engine revs quickly and sounds great with the HO exhaust manifolds and 2.5" X pipe with flowmaster mufflers. The engine has an Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, roller tip rockers, HEI distributor, Moroso Super 40 plug wires, recent complete tune up and Joe Gibbs oil Change and engine has been completely rebuilt with approximately 4000 miles on it. The transmission is a TH350 with a nice shift kit, small leak on trans but minor. Shifts perfectly. The rearend is a nice 8.5" 10 bolt with new brakes, Positraction 3.73 Gears, perfect with the tall tires, and a TA girdle on the rear, rearend is fresh and makes no noise, works great. Front brakes are disc, rear drum, power brakes, stops perfectly. Steering is tight, has a small leak at the pump, but minor. This car drives great and has good power, it's not a race car or super fast but it will bark a nice second gear if you get on it. Good kids car or fun car, it won't get away from you. The wheels are Year One 17x9" Black Billet Snowflakes with brand new stickers still on them Nitto 450 275/50/17 in rear and 255/50/17 in front put them on yesterday. New shocks on all 4 corners. The bottom of the car is solid with no visible rust, may have had 2 small patch panels at one time under the floor pans, and the complete underside has been professionally bed linered, not spray can stuff, but good stuff. Underside is driver quality, not restored and not perfect, but presentable. I will try to add a video later of the car so you can hear it and see it better. If you need more pics let me know. Car is for sale locally so make offers if you're interested. It's no reserve, start at a dollar and see where it goes. Clear Texas Title, plates do not go with it.
