Although I cannot assure you that this figureis 100% correct, there were very few of these trucks ever produced for the USmarket.I purchased this vehicle from a goodfriend with the intention of never letting it go. Thisis a stock 2WD truck with a clear title, 2400 CC 2L-T DIESEL engine, 5-SPEEDmanual transmission, POWER STEERING, and all of the OEM equipment intact andfunctional down to the Factory Toyota AM/FM radio. Owning this truck is asclose as you will get to traveling back in time to 1985 and picking one up fromthe Toyota dealership complete with original blue CA plates! This truck drives and feels like a much newervehicle and is perfect for the true Toyota enthusiast. Visually,the truck’s paint is in excellent condition, as I had the truck refinished in single-stageToyota Cygnus White (white with a hint of beige). In addition, I added a new TOYOTA bed decal tocomplete the factory look. The truckwas delivered with the Deluxe package, which includes upgraded cloth bench seat(original with no rips or tears) and chrome side mirrors. The vehicle offers a long bed perfect forfamily adventures, camping or work. Thetruck’s tires are in good condition. Thefactory gray interior includes padded vinyl dash with no splits or tears, vinyldoor panels with manual windows, vinyl floor mat, headliner and vinyl headrests. All of interior items are inexcellent shape and consistent with the truck’s exceptionally low mileage. The truck features the Window Packageincluding side vents and sliding rear window complete with factory decal.The truck’sbody is in excellent shape with no paint scratches or dents. The undercarriageof this truck is rust free and in excellent condition. The frame is solid andrust-free. The vehicle has factory steel wheels painted white. Factory tool kit, spare tire, bottle jack, originalToyota Owner’s Manual, Toyota Diesel Factory Service Manual (FSM) also includedwith the sale. Mechanically, the vehicle is inexcellent shape and runs great. The5-Speed transfer case is super tight and shifts smoothly. Thevehicle has low miles and this is evident everywhere on the vehicle. The rubber door seals, engine and all interiorswitches and moving parts are like new. Ihave driven the vehicle at City and Highway speeds and the truck acceleratesand drives very nicely. No A/C. CleanCalifornia title in hand and current California (just paid) registration andinsurance. The EPA estimated fueleconomy for these trucks in excess of 33 MPG making this one super fuelefficient. In terms of items to be addressed, thetruck’s vacuum pump will need to be eventually replaced as a dash light comesup momentarily during light acceleration. In addition, the vehicle came fitted from the factory with dualbatteries and only a single battery is fitted. A single Die Hard Platinum battery will be included with the sale whichseems to do the job of starting just fine.
