Selling Another Beautiful Classic Porsche I have been a classic car enthusiast for 10 years buying mostly Porsches Mercedes and BMW’s because in my opinion, nothing compares to German engineering. I have also helped several international buyers locate, purchase, and export these beautiful cars back to their place of origin for private collection therefore I accept and welcome bidders from around the world- see my feedback for other Porsches I've sold. Some vehicles I sell are my personal cars, others are ones that I am listing on behalf of others, but I always drive the cars and describe them to the best of my ability. Prior to bidding on any of my vehicles, please make sure to ask any questions as your bid is a binding contract stating that you accept the car in AS IS condition. All sales are final- I simply will not put up with anyone who is just shopping or wasting time. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE FUNDS READY TO MAKE FULL PAYMENT WITHIN 7 DAYS PER AUCTION TERMS PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I know that most ebayers and car collectors are stand-up people but there are a few out there who simply should not be buying cars online. I do my best to describe the cars as they are in my opinion but in order to make sure that the cars are up to your standards it is your responsibility to inspect the car in person or have your assigned agent inspect the car, otherwise you are buying the car based on my opinion only- I am not a certified car inspector or mechanic- just an enthusiast that has been around a lot of European sports cars. That disclaimer being stated, here is the description I offer for this particular car: If you have been looking for a clean classic 911 this is a great one for your consideration. Looking at the market, the 74-77 models are primed to make a run in value similar to what the pre 74 models have done over the past 5 years. It's always a matter of supply and demand and since these are harder and harder to find the supply is low and demand is high. Couple that with the rare Light Yellow (117 paint code) exterior and the fact that its a Euro model and it only makes this car that much more rare. I have done nothing to restore the car- what you see is what you get and it appears to be a solid unmoelsted driver with great potential for a full restoration to become a show car or collector. NADA Classic Car Guide values a car like this between $18K and $29K but here on ebay I offer the car for sale as is to the high bidder at NO RESERVE. I trust the market value of the car will show itself in the bidding, so may the best bidder enjoy this beautiful car. This car comes with a clean clear title and services records for the past 10 years including a recent fuel pump replacement. My overall assessment is that this car is in good condition inside and out. It runs and drives well and the motor runs strong with a lot of pickup. It has been regularly serviced and has current tags. I believe that value is determined by what people are willing to pay for a car which is why I list cars at NO RESERVE. Below is my very detailed an honest description of this car. Most people would just say “excellent condition” and not give all the details but I try to include everything, good and bad. Cosmetically this car is beautiful to look at on the road and literally has everyone who sees it asking questions about it. There simply isn't anything like the classic body style of an early 911! The body looks straight and solid with no visible rust or major collision damage. Underneath the pans are solid and jack spurs look good. The paint looks mostly original but has some scratches and defects- the most significant on the front hood, so I would say it looks good from 15 feet but up close you will find flaws so if you are looking for a show car plan on paint. There are also a few small door dings and the front spoiler has typical road debris pitting. The interior is also in good condition with typical wear and tear for its age including the common cracked dash. It's pretty obvious that the previous owners drove this car but kept good care for it as it looks much newer than a 40 year old car. Check out the photos- what you see is what you get: Mechanically the car is solid. I use the cold start and she fires right up and runs/sounds clean and strong. The fuel assembly was recently replaced and it idles very well and pulls strong. In my test drive the car had fantastic acceleration for its age and the handling was even impressive. The car drives straight and doesn't seem to have any vibrations. The tires are pretty worn- I think a new set of rubber would do this car well. I have had the car in the same spot for two weeks and have seen a few oil drops but nothing major. The previous owner said that the engine was rebuilt at one point around 13 years ago. The transmission shifts smoothly through every gear and the clutch feels solid. All the gauges seem to work but the ODO is not tracking and currently reads 54,751 but actual mileage is unknown as it is likely beyond the mechanical limits of the ODO that only displays 5 digits. As stated earlier, it's a good driver and seems to be very dependable mechanically. In summary, this is a surviving 1974 Euro spec 911 that's an honest car in need of a new owner. I really like the color combo and attention this car gets from anyone who sees it. It would make a great sports car that still has a lot of life left in it. Feel free to ask questions prior to bidding. I can provide a reference for arranging very affordable transportation for this car to any state or port in the USA or to anywhere in the world as I have helped international buyers get more than 20 Porsches back to Europe over the past 10 years. Mechanically I would trust this car on a drive if you wanted to fly in and drive it home but I would recommend new tires for longer drives and a basic pre-trip inspection just to be safe.
