This is a 1961 GMC, just like the chevy chevrolet version, 1 Ton dually. This is a work horse of a truck. This thing can haul. Has the very sought after hercules V6 Big Block engine. Its the 351ci, 5.8L V6 engine. Has incredible amounts of torque. Has a four speed manual transmission with granny gear. Bought new tires all around over the summer and got the brakes redone. Tires alone cost $1,300.00 (6 tires). The drivetrain is very solid, can drive to new york and back. Made to use regular unleaded 87 octane gas. Hauls with the best of them. Bought off someone who used it to haul hay from a farm in Nevada.I bought originally to restore and use it as a hauler for my other classic vehicles. Got heavily involved in restoring another vehicle and now have no room for restoring this truck. Was told the original engine was rebuilt back in 2011, judging from the look of the engine and how it drives, i have no reason to doubt it. The body is pretty straight, but still needs body and paint.Has rust, as a 50 plus truck will have, but nothing serious. Has minor rot through on pass and driver side bottom door, not bad at all. This was a work truck and has been used as such. Mechanically it is very sound. Flatbed measurements are 8 feet wide and 9 feet 1 inch in length. Has a heavy duty hitch receiver. All glass is good except the back window is cracked as is the passenger side door glass. They dont leak, but cosmetically they are cracked. Brakes have also been done over the summer. If you need a strong truck this is it, if you are looking to restore this, this is a great project. Deposit due within 24 hours of bid ending, balance due within 3 days after.
