This listing is for a Vintage 1975 Chevy Cheyenne 10 Long-bed Pickup Truck. *I'm selling this truck for my son. The person he purchased it from was in the process of restoring it when he decided he needed the money for other things. Now my son is in the same boat. I don't think the previous owner got very far in the process, but he did have it professionally lowered. It has now been professionally returned to it's original stature. Condition of exterior: Photos should speak mostly for themselves. Body is entirely straight. I can't even find any significant dings. No body rot. Needs paint (or not). Condition of interior: Inside is what you would expect from a truck this age. Seat upholstery is mostly intact but is showing wear at the driver's end. Dash is cracking and has a cover on it. Dashboard is in good shape, and the carpet is decent. The armrest on the driver's door needs to be replaced. Mechanical: Very sound mechanically. Starts & runs great. No issues with the transmission. Engine is strong. The exhaust pipe became detached (while it was still lowered) from bottoming out on an electric gate rail. My son's mechanic said he could just put it back on, and that there's no damage to the connection. They decided they were going to put a new one on instead, but didn't get around to it. The original pipe will be included, but it is not reattached. It is a bit loud at present. Brakes are good. Has a/c but the fan motor isn't coming on. Not sure what it needs. Recent improvements: New radiator and radiator hoses / New battery / Replaced U-joint / New tires / New Shocks Has dual fuel tanks. Tanks and electrical are there but needs work to get it to switch over.
