This VW came in from a local estate, it runs & drives, has been in storage for a few years, it looks and feels like a fun vehic;e, great opportunity to own a great example of the Baja Bug. A mechanical inspection is encouraged before purchasing this vehicle. It is being sold as is/where is, unsafe to drive the way it is, even though we have driven it locally to check it out, gear box and clutch are in good shape, shifts good. Georgia was a non-title state before 1984. Comes with a legal State of Georgia bill of sale. 1971 Volkswagen Beetle Baja, good body and paint, looks good, plenty of thread on the tires, lights work, Runs & drives, has good engine & transmission, 1600cc engine with an additional engine which someone started to restore but has been partially taken apart, it has new pistons, rings, jugs in a box. The car needs Brakes looked into before getting on the road, it pulls to the right, but it is drivable. The interior has Brown Seats & Black Door Panels with a few small rips in the front seats. The back seat is in good shape. The inside of the trunk needs a new cover panel. it has a fiberglass trunk lid, fenders and spoiler. There is some spots of rust under the car, a few inches long.
