Vehicle Detail

Sad day... have a job change and need to sell my 1997 Collectors Edition LC. First thing, it DOES have the factory front & Rear lockers, and YES they work! I bought it last year from a friend that owned it for the last 10 years, they bought it from the local Toyota dealer and I believe I am the 3rd owner, I bought it with the intention of it being the last car I ever bought, currently has 188k miles, It is 99% factory stock, the only things changed are the wheels and stereo. It has 16" centerlines in graphite color, and I recently changed out the broken factory stereo for a nice pioneer double-din unit FH-X700BT with all new 6.5" pioneer speakers in the front & rear doors, (all stock speakers & grills come with it, no permanent mod's were made to the panels, so can be put back to stock if wanted). Has 265/75/16 cooper A/T3 tires with about 8k miles on them, recently put new plugs, wires, cap & rotor, front brake pads, shocks, front D.S. u-joints, radiator hoses, & drive belts. It had a leaking rear main seal, front crank seal, and oil pump o-ring that I just had fixed this last week. It runs awesome, shifts perfect & the factory lockers work as they should. The A/C and heat work great. It is all in all a great solid rig & a great runner. All switches, lights, gauges, etc, work great, LED interior lights, keyless entry. Being a California car means ZERO rust!! The exhaust has some surface rust, but that is it, frame, and all panels, are rust free. It does have the 3rd row seats that have been used probably 5 times, It has never been really wheeled, dirt roads are the worst it has seen. The roof rack is an aftermarket unit that was put on last November, never had a factory one, or a factory wind deflector, or a factory hitch, I added a curt hitch to use a bike rack with. Power seats are FULLY functional, and of course the "D" light on the dash does not work. The interior is really clean, no leaks, stains, missing parts, etc.. Also yes it is a clean title car, never wrecked, all original body panels, all Toyota stickers are accounted for on the panels. The is a small dent and few scratches on the passenger side cowl, they were touched up with (almost) matching paint. One spot on the hood where the wind deflector wore away the paint (right in the middle). I recently cleaned out the sunroof drains, as well as the drain holes on the bottom of all doors, the weather-stripping is all in great shape as we'll, no leaks anywhere! I would have no hesitation to drive it cross-country anytime, it is fun to drive & gets compliments just about every time I drive it. Being a "Collectors Edition" gives it automatic climate control, gray body moldings and bumpers, & collectors edition badging. From what I have found out, about 4-7% of FZJ80's came with the factory lockers, and finding these in original un-molested condition is becoming more rare. I currently have it for sale locally so may end the auction at anytime for a local buyer. I am selling this as-is with no implied warranty, it is almost 17 years old, so is not perfect and will require love and attention to stay in tip-top shape. If you are looking for an FZJ80 you know about these and know how they like to be treated. Any shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer, I am easy to work with and will help out anyway that I can. On Nov-21-13 at 18:43:40 PST, seller added the following information: I have had many inquiries about the front seats condition under the covers, they are both split at the center seam, not badly, likely a fairly easy re-stich job, they are not cracked or split anywhere else. They were mostly covered to protect legs from hot leather. I have also had questions about the dashboard cover, the dash cover was on it when I bought it and I have honestly never taken it off to look! I do not see any visible cracks when sitting in it so am fairly sure its fine. I do not have it at the house so cannot go check until Saturday. I also have had NUMEROUS requests for a " buy it now " price, I didn't plan on having one, but will add one now. Thanks
