You are bidding on a highly desirable 1979 Honda CBX. This model/year tends to turn a lot of heads in the motorcycle world with the ’79s being only the second year for the CBXs. This is a unique opportunity to own one. This bike was picked up in a barn-find condition that is in dire need of some serious TLC. This would be a great project to bring back to life during the up-and-coming winter months…a project for someone else, though. No time here. The pictures tell it all. I know nothing of how it runs – having not tried to start it. I can tell you that after hosing it down, however, it would be recommended to inspect down to the frame to see what’s actually there. I was informed that it was stowed away in running condition over +15 years ago. The winning bidder will need to see if that still holds true. Just imagine twisting the throttle of this monster six cylinder motor and impressing all of your friends over a cold one. Talk about being the envy of the neighborhood! The bike appears to be mostly complete. It comes equipped with a stylish Vetter fairing (removable if desired) and a high back passenger seat pad (for that special someone). Please see pictures for wear and defects of the bike, I’ve tried to capture everything in photo. Not familiar enough to tell what parts are original.
