Vehicle Detail
This is a great condition, 5-speed manual, third owner E24 635csi, that recently proved itself over a 3,000+ mile journey where two members of the crew here at 503 Motoring took the challenge of bringing this low mileage survivor 635csi all the way from New York to our home here in Oregon. Over a period of 3 days, they traversed the continental United States, without one hiccup. This car was designed specifically for long distance luxury cruising and that is precisely what it does. It purrs like a kitten and truly has all the comfort and reliability of a car with 1/3'rd of the mileage. Everything is tight and precise and feels solid. Once the 6 was home we went through it and replaced some maintenance items, including all new brake pads and rotors, oil and filter, and hood struts, as well as some cleanup on the exterior and interior. This car features a rare combination of the 5-Speed manual Getrag with the Hi-Line leather wrapped interior, rear A/C and cooling box feature as well as power operated Sunroof, A very few number of these cars in this spec were produced. The car will come with a full set of the original TRX 5-lug 15" Bottlecap wheels, with a full size 5th wheel as the spare (with the original spare tire). The car currently has the 16" BBS Basketweaves which are seen in the photos below, and will also be included. It even has the original first aid kit, and full tool kit (they came with a real one back then!) as well as books and manuals. It has an aftermarket Alpine CD player, MB Quart speakers and dealer installed performance chip, but will include an OEM stereo as well. This is a rare find in the E24 world and is a true European Classic. There is no rust on this car, it is a super solid example. The only item showing extreme wear is the exhaust system, it has rust on the weep hole areas and the cat covers are rusted off. Exhaust system has no leaks and operates perfectly but could use a replacement for cosmetic reasons.
